Closer To Love

Oh my... Haha, it has been a fast week!! 7 days seemed like no time at all.  Work is going great, trying to still catch on to the swing of things at the office. Had my first day doing procedures at the hospital on Thursday. I LOVED IT!! It is so fast paced, and different from in-office procedures.  We got to the hospital at 6am, and changed into our hospital scrubs, got into the surgery room and set everything up so it was ready to go! We saw four patients that day from 6-3:30, and then headed back to the office to finish up the day. I can't believe how tired I was once I settled down for the day and thought about it.
Challenge #2 (praying outside the box) has opened my eyes tremendously these last few days. Can't quite wrap my head around how it changes my heart towards strangers, except for that I whole-heatedly believe that God has made everyone in some way lovable. And, has given each of us the ability to fill each other's lives with His grace in just a quick flash of time- and that grace is way more than enough to survive off of.

"9But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me."
2 Cor. 12:9

  1. I love what you wrote about everyone being lovable, it's so true. Sometimes when I'm on the metro I look around at all the people, so different, and I'm floored by the fact that God loves each of us so deeply. It's inconceivable. Thanks for sharing, you inspire me. :)
